About Us

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Communications Department has undergone numerous phases of transition, in tandem with continuous development in the university. The Communications Department provides information and advice in communications and branding to raise the visibility of UiTM.

In partnership with the academic and administrative offices in UiTM's 35 campuses nationwide, the department provides an array of services, including Public Relations, Media, Protocol and Event Management, Information, Publicity and Corporate Publication, Brand Management, Web Media, Creative Media Technology, as well as Creative Video Production.
Mission

Vision

To be an ideal Corporate Communication Unit which is committed in maintaining the corporate image and identity of the university which focuses on scholarly and academic excellence
  • To strengthen the university’s corporate image and identity inline with UiTM’s Corporate Image Manual;
  • To provide efficient and quality event management and creative media services and focus on the clients;
  • To form good relations with the media fraternity and the community at large;
  • To provide advisory and consultative services to Heads of Departments (HOD) on event management, protocols and creative media at university level.
  • To document the university’s major activities and publish relevant materials as products of the university;
  • To deliver and disseminate university-related information to the university populace and the community at large;
  • To ensure efficient and effective management of grievances from clients;
  • To make sure all elements of university’s corporate management which are implemented in Seri Iskandar campus are inline with the elements at UiTM Perak Branch Tapah Campus.
