The International Symposium on Mathematical Sciences and Computing Research (iSMSC) 2015 is organized by the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM Perak, co-organized by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Computer Chapter. iSMSC 2015 aims to promote and provide a platform for researchers, academia, and practitioners to meet and exchange ideas on recent research and development in the areas of computing technology, information systems and mathematical sciences. The theme for iSMSC 2015 deliberately constitutes of a broad canvas. The precise conference theme is expected to emerge from the proceeding papers themselves which are organized around the areas of computing research, information systems and mathematical sciences. All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®, and if accepted, will be indexed by Scopus. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (i.e. removal from IEEE Xplore).

  • To provide a forum for the discussion of issues of broad concern in the computing, information systems and mathematical sciences research.

  • To provide a premier interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary forum for researchers, academia, and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the fields of computing research, information systems and mathematical sciences research.

  • To document the latest information and research results which are very important aspects in exploration, development and sharing of knowledge in computing research, information systems and mathematical sciences research.

Best Paper Awards

iSMSC 2015 will be running a 'best paper'  award for each of the respective conference tracks. This award will be presented at the iSMSC 2015 gala dinner to a paper selected from among the full papers submitted to iSMSC 2015.

Submission Process

Guidelines for paper submission
The following information is provided to help you with the preparation and submission of your research paper before it can be published in the iSMSC 2015 conference proceedings. In order for your paper to be successfully included in iSMSC 2015 conference proceeding, it is required that you strictly follow the following instructions:

Step 1. All manuscripts must be in English. Your paper has to follow the full iSMSC 2015 paper format. The length of your paper should be no more than 6 pages in A4 size, including figures, tables and references. For the purpose of review, since we are conducting a double blind review process, the author(s) is (are) required to remove their name(s) from the paper. Papers submitted for review MUST NOT contain any author information (no authors, affiliation or address, and no explicit self-reference). However, the name(s) of author(s) need to be included in the final submission.

Step 2. Your paper must be converted to PDF format using Use Conference ID: 34247X. (All papers must be submitted in PDF format only).

Step 3. Upon conversion, please upload the PDF file to
Please register yourself at the above-mentioned link prior to uploading your paper.

Step 4. You are also required to complete and sign the IEEE Electronic Copyright Transfer Form (eCF). Please upload the eCF forms to

Accepted Paper (Camera ready paper submission)

Step 1. Your final paper camera ready paper must also be in PDF format. Your paper must be converted to PDF format using Use Conference ID: 34247X. Upload your final paper via The DEADLINE for your camera ready paper is on 16 APRIL 2015.

Step 2. After payment of the registration fees, please upload a copy of the transaction slip at for record management.

  1. All papers will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical quality, and relevance to the conference. Concurrent submission to this conference and/or other conferences or journals is not allowed.
  2. Please note that failure to follow the above instructions may result in your paper being excluded from the conference proceedings.
  3. All author name(s) and contact details should not be included for first submission. This is for the blind review process.

To be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of a paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (i.e. removal from IEEE Xplore®) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Call for Reviewer

iSMSC 2015 will implement a double blind peer review process. The success and strength of the technical program depends on volunteers taking a few minutes of their precious time to read papers submitted and giving a thoughtful review. Do sign up as a reviewer by sending email to:
