The Quality Management Unit of UiTM Perak Branch was established in 2003. Led by the Head of the Quality Management, the unit is assisted byfour administrative staff and the Committees of Quality Management Unit which comprises lecturers and administrative staff from various faculties, unit and division. The Quality Management Unit is responsible in managing the quality assurance in working system of UiTM (Perak) by organising quality audit, training/courses and workshops towards Quality Management System (QMS) UiTM.
The Quality Management Unit focuses on the organisational excellence through benchmarking trips and excellent management practices, the measurement and practice of appropriate quality management model as well as Exchange System (change management system). In maintaining the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the Quality Management Unit plays an important role in ensuring the continuous quality improvement by implementing internal audits, Inspectorate, Surveillance and Financial.
