About Us
The Infostructure Division was established on 1 November 2010 after the Phase 1 (Zeta) Building had been completed. At that time, the Infostructure Division only had two staffs.
Since 2013, the Infostructure Division has grown with the addition of staff in line with the construction of Phase 2 buildings under the PFI project. Formerly, the Infostructure Division was known as Integrated Information System Unit (USMB) in 2010, before being renamed as InfoTech Division (2013). Now it is better known as the Infostructure Division since 2017.
In line with the current technological developments, Infostructure Division plays a very important role as the backbone to provide ICT-related services to campus residents, especially in terms of ICT infrastructure and information systems. At the same time, the role of this division is to ensure that the teaching and learning process and administrative services run smoothly.
This division also plays a role in term of ICT operations on a daily basis which involve the maintenance and repair of ICT equipment, multi-purpose card services, door access, Gmail, and others. It also provides services related to ICT administration such as ICT procurement and documentation.
To ensure that ICT planning is orderly and in line with development, this division also plays a role in preparing ICT strategic planning based on the Malaysia Plan and UiTM Strategic Planning Plan.
The Infostructure Division currently consists of one (1) Information Technology Officer, ten (10) Assistant Information Technology Officers, and two (2) Computer Technicians.

Vision

- To ensure the availability of the Universiti Teknologi MARA intranet network system at least 99.9% of the time every year.
- To ensure the availability of internet access for users of Universiti Teknologi MARA at least 99.7% of the time every year.
- To ensure that complaints/service applications received are handled within three (3) working days.
- To ensure that the university's key systems operate continuously at least 99% of the time.
