The Faculty of Applied Science or Fakulti Sains Gunaan (FSG) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak was part of the second phase of UiTM Perak in the Tapah Campus, which commenced in 2014.

Equipped with two academic buildings of 28 classrooms, four lecture halls, laboratories, and complete facilities, it provides a conducive learning environment for students. With our experienced and competent faculty members, we offer an academic programme in Diploma in Science (AS120), which consists of three major fields: Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

Here at FSG, we focus on scientific fundamentals and applying scientific knowledge. The FSG has also supported the growth of UiTM by offering students opportunities to combine science with other disciplines, including mathematics and entrepreneurship. We are committed to providing excellent teaching, creating a stimulating learning atmosphere, and leading students ahead on their academic and career paths.
